Fermanagh District Council recently completed an addressing project to officially name and number over fifteen thousand rural properties within their area.
The Address Management Unit has since been supplied with these new addresses and is currently making the necessary changes to the Royal Mail’s Postcode Address File (PAF®). We are working towards a completion date of the end of March 2013 and all customers involved in this project, will receive a letter from the Address Management Unit confirming their new postal address.
We are continuing to work with our partners on the development of this large scale addressing campaign. Upon completion, all rural addresses in County Fermanagh will be recognised on computer databases for the first time which will hugely benefit the many residents, ending years of confusion and frustration.
