The PAF® Advisory Board’s County names consultation

The PAF® Advisory Board has notified the Address Management Unit that they are running a consultation on the extent to which Royal Mail should continue to supply County name information. Whilst there is no County information held within the Postcode Address File itself – County names are not required by Royal Mail for the delivery of mail – we do continue to hold this information in a separate file, Alias, and make it available to customers who request it.
